The boys went swimming most days, even when it was cold. We let them go off in the canoe themselves if they brought a walkie talkie.
We liked to eat outside until the mosquitos started biting, which happened at about 7 every evening.
Andrew and Calvin sharing popsicles.
We caught loads of little fish right off our dock. Spencer caught a few big ones.
We had a party on Memorial Day. Amazing weather!
Lou brought his boat and took the kids for rides.
We had a campfire in the evening and roasted marshmallows for smores.
Spencer's parents came and stayed with us for a week before Spencer's graduation. We went strawberry picking and just enjoyed our time on the river. My parents and my sister, Angela, and her family also visited for a few days at graduation time.
This was a nice transition time for us. We had all the stress of packing, moving and cleaning behind us and we could just enjoy our last month in Syracuse. This house was a perfect place to entertain family at graduation time and when it was time to leave, we just had to pack our car up and go.

Those three posts are so cool!! do you wish you would have done all that renovating a few years ago? It seems like we are tackling on project at a time and since we don't have a deadline, it is taking forever!!
Biggest CONGRATULATIONS on Spencer's graduation!! You did fail to mention where you are headed off to. I hope you are very excited. What a great way to end that chapter of your life!
I'm so excited for you all. Congratulations and best wishes!
